Employer Services

Some placements are critical to the future success of a health organisation. To this end, the search assignment is viewed as a strategic business alliance between our client and our professional Search Team. We represent our clients with the utmost confidential, personal and professional manner, with integrity, timeliness and thoroughness.

With close consultation to determine strategy and potential applicants, we will coordinate all contact, assessment and presentation, through to the final negotiation to ensure that this process is managed within strict confidentiality guidelines as would be determined by our client.

This process allows you to identify key staff and ascertain interest from them with complete anonymity without jeopardising existing relationships.

CONSULTATION
Initial client meetings allow us to develop a thorough understanding of the assignment and the organisation that we will be assisting. We review specific candidate requisites, identifying technical qualities and personal attributes that will separate the successful candidate from others in the field. The ability to determine if a candidate will thrive in our client's unique culture sets us apart.

RESEARCH STRATEGY
Research begins with similar and targeted facilities, organisations and competition. Working with our clients, we target other health employers that employ candidates situated in positions similar to that detailed by the position specification. Additionally, we utilise research directories, periodicals, the Internet, and our own database, while networking with numerous sources and personal contacts in order to locate highly qualified individuals.

CONTACT
We contact potential candidates from the target list, conducting personal and confidential interviews with those who best meet the requirements specified by the client. Candidates are evaluated on motivational factors, qualifications, and organisational fit. As the majority of professionals recruited in this way are not actively looking for new employment when first contacted, Latitudes educates the prospective candidate as to the opportunities, challenges, and rewards to be gained by transition.

ASSESSMENT
We review all serious candidates with the client and present their profiles in a Candidate Finalist Summary that details professional qualifications, work history, and other attributes; management style, strengths and other personal attributes. We recommend only those candidates who meet the agreed key selection criteria and express genuine interest in the client organisation.

PRESENTATION
Candidates who are of interest to the client are introduced in a confidential meeting at a convenient location.

FINAL BACKGROUND CHECK
If the client and the final candidate(s) are mutually interested, we contact references able to provide insight into a candidate's abilities, achievements, and qualifications. At the same time, we verify the candidate's qualifications background and career history.

NEGOTIATION
We counsel and assist with such matters as the compensation package, contractual issues, and other specific details of employment, including relocation. We are also in an ideal position to counsel both candidate and client regarding any counter-offer that the candidate's present employer may extend.
